Abant Izzet Baysal University Renewed Their IT
Infrastructure with Teknoser
Abant Izzet Baysal University (PDA) conducted a series of projects enhances and
enriches the Information Technology resources with Turkey's one of the leading field
services and consulting system integration companies, Teknoser. AİBÜ, with the
completion of the projects is now on its way with faster and more secure steps
directing to knowledge society 25 thousand students.
Abant Izzet Baysal University (AİBÜ) which is growing with an increasing acceleration with the steps
taken towards building information society in recent period, realized many projects with Teknoser from
the renewal of the virtualization environment and system room to the completion of the purchase of
necessary PC and software, from the positioning of the network logging software to a new wired and
wireless network devices to Faculty of Dentistry equipped with network equipment thoroughly.
More resources for special applications
AİBÜ Information Systems Specialist Oktan Ozgen said that they are successfully reaching their goals
after completing all projects and gave the following information about the other benefits obtained:
"AİBÜ Faculty of Dentistry which is active as the largest dental school of the Western Black Sea, network
project which was performed for Faculty of Dentistry was very important to us. In all newly established
faculty by introducing about 1200 network equipment to use, we have successfully completed a quite
extensive project through Teknoser. Remote recording system was commissioned for dentistry is now
more accomplished. IT resources allocated for specific applications have become more active. Now, we
can provide resources to each unit which desires. We think it will increase efficiency within the
organization and it will affect academic achievement. Now our goal is electronic document management
system. After the steps we take to improve our infrastructure, with this new project, we are ready to to
internalize technology in our university and to transfer our business processes to digital media. "
Right steps in investment
Oktan Ozgen underlined that they need more PC and licensed software with increased staff and said
