Project 2: Synthesis of new Fluorescence probes will be used for determination of nucleic acids and Investigation of Interactions with spectoflourometric method. Quantitative analysis of nucleic acids, molecular biology, biotechnology and medical diagnostics is very important in many areas especially. High chemical stability compared with DNA and other biological compounds, for the determination of nucleic acid-fast, accurate and easily allows for the development of analytical methods. In the literature for the spectrophotometric determination of nucleic acids, such as chemiluminescence, light scattering, electrochemistry and chromatography methods have been proposed. However, in recent years, great interest shown in fluorometric methods. Nucleic acids have a very low intensity and spectral characteristics of fluorescence emission is very difficult to direct examination. Indirectly in fluorometric method, fluorescence inserts, for example, fluorescent dyes, metal ions and metal complexes are used. the interaction of fluorescence insert with the nucleic acid is carried out through three main connecting model, these are intercalation, groove binding and electrostatic interactions. When fluorescence inserts connected with biomolecule which has slighly or non fluorescence properties, they gain fluorescence properties or thier spectral properits changed and this allows to monitor biomolecule structure and function. The inserts interact with many biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, hormones, growth factors that allow us to examine the structure and function of these species. In this context, several fluorescence-based inserts coumarin synthesized by our group. In this field, new fluorescence compounds are obtained easily and had low toxic effect will be targeted to synthesize. General Structure of the synthesized compounds; 1.
